Cursing is technically not allowed, however we are somewhat flexible on this matter. As a friend once said:

"I think everyone should treat everyone else with respect, and that's the standard we should enforce. Swear words are just used as bursts of power like an exclamation point, and tend to be used for purposes of disrespect. However, they can also be used benevolently. It's really the intent of the user that's the issue.

"So-and-so is a stupid *****," is an insult that should not be allowed, but it's really just a more excited version of "So-and-so is a stupid baffoon," which also shouldn't be allowed. In contrast, "So-and-so is one rad dude," is a relatively tame complement compared to "So-and-so is so badass," which I feel should be allowed due to it's ultimately positive content. "
